Popular Northeast Boise Neighborhoods:

Northeast Boise is located East of downtown Boise and is bordered to the south by the Boise River. NE Boise encompasses the prestigious foothill neighborhoods of El Paseo, Wildhorse Ranch, Terra Nativa, Harris North, Boulder Point and the majestic and historic homes lining Warm Springs Avenue. It also includes the Barber Valley and the various Harris Ranch Boise Idaho enclaves all north of the Boise River. NE Boise is one of the most expensive areas of Boise to purchase real estate. It’s close proximity to the Boise River, Boise Greenbelt, and the beautiful Boise Foothills are, in large part, what makes this one of the most sought-after areas to live in the Treasure Valley. The Barber Valley has become an increasingly sought-after area to live in Northeast Boise. The saying, “there’s something for everyone” is really applicable. With a diverse range of homes, from smaller, single-level ‘patio’ style homes to larger two-stories with yards to expansive homes with views, to a state-of-the-art senior living facility, the area appeals to young couples, growing families as well as retirees.

You know who else enjoys the foothills and the Boise River? Our wildlife! In fact, the Boise River and Boise Foothills corridor is critical to the well-being and migration of area wildlife. Therefore, efforts are in place to protect the wildlife habitat and migration corridors for our furry and feathery friends. Whether walking, hiking, jogging, biking, or just appreciating the views, and an occasional visit from wildlife, all of these neighborhoods are Boise gems and treasures of our Valley.
