Lemps takes its name from the Lemp Addition, one of the city plat additions of the early 1890s in Boise's North End. Brewer and former mayor John Lemp began selling lots here in 1891. Homes on the market here are mostly older detached houses along the numbered streets around 13th, 15th and 16th, in ZIP 83702. Nearby is the Lemp Triangle, the block bounded by Fort, 13th, Resseguie and 15th, home to the art deco North Junior High.
