Dry Creek Ranch, Boise, ID Homes and Neighborhoods

Dry Creek Ranch is a master community of about 1,400 acres in the Dry Creek Valley, east of Highway 55 and roughly four miles north of State Street. Homes carry Boise addresses, and the development was approved through Ada County. Boise Hunter Homes owns and develops the community, which is built around trails, open space, a community farm and an equestrian arena. Hidden Springs sits just to the east, and the rest of Boise is a short drive south.

Amenities and HOA

The community farm, trail system and equestrian arena are the features that set Dry Creek Ranch apart from a typical subdivision. A community center was also part of the plan, with fitness space, a kitchen and gathering rooms, plus an outdoor pool, pickleball courts and sports fields. Homes belong to a homeowners association, so ask for the dues, what they cover and whether any amenity fees apply.

Schools and getting around

Dry Creek Ranch is served by the West Ada School District, and listings here commonly show Eagle Middle and Eagle High as the assigned schools. Elementary assignments can vary by phase, so check the address with the district. Highway 55 runs along the west side of the community, which puts Eagle and State Street within easy reach.
